gregspicture0051Greg is the Managing Partner of GTI Advisors Threat Management Practice Group.   Established at the height of the Cold War era in 1962, GTI assists decision makers by providing business threat intelligence, analysis, staff awareness training and with daily challenges fighting the global war against the “dark side.”

Greg’s specialty is working with Private Equity, Venture Capital, Angel investors and economic development authorities to bring transparency to each business transaction or funding commitment, and to mitigate pre-deal risk by providing enhanced due diligence research and analysis prior to closing.

Additionally, Greg assists clients to best protect operations by identifying and avoiding threats using a “total operational” due diligence and oversight approach applied across each component of their organization or portfolio group of companies.  He  also assists high net worth clients with managing sensitive family office matters and global transactions.

Greg is a business plan development coach for the Great Lakes Entrepreners Quest competitions and also provides support to Michigan Economic Development Corporation programs, Ann Arbor Spark, Wayne State University TechTown, University of Michigan Tech Transfer, Automation Alley technology, bio-life sciences and other business start-up, expansion and economic development initiatives.

Greg is a board member of the The Eagle Research Center and is a board trustee of the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society, actively involved with their archaeological research, museum exhibit development and programs produced for the History Channel, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.   Greg is an active Hospice program supporter and  fundraiser.
